This document outlines the necessary steps to authenticate in Segura® Browser using corporate credentials with the Single Sign-On (SSO) method.
Requirements
- Have Segura® Browser updated on your device.
- Have an activation token previously linked to Segura® Platform.
- The administrator must have previously registered Segura® Platform with the company's Identity Provider (IdP).
- Have an active corporate account with the company’s Identity Provider (IdP).
Authenticate with SSO
- Open Segura® Browser on your workstation.
- On first access, in the Segura® Browser home screen, fill in the Activation code field with the access token linked to Segura® Platform.
- The browser will start the device authorization flow and display for authentication:
- A QR code to be scanned with a mobile device or another browser.
- A verification URL (authentication path) and a user code.
- Choose one of the options:
- Scan the QR code: use your mobile device to scan the displayed QR code.
- Use the URL: access the provided URL and enter the authentication code shown on the screen.
- Authenticate with the identity provider (IdP) using your username or corporate email.
- Segura® Browser will wait for login confirmation until authentication is completed on the chosen device.
- Upon successful authentication, the system will associate your external identity with the platform’s internal account according to the attributes received in the token. If authentication fails or expires, Segura® Browser will display an error message on the screen indicating the reason.
Now you have access to your credentials, as registered in Segura® Platform, directly through Segura® Browser.
