Service accounts

This document provides information about the Service accounts screen in the Tenant settings menu, which displays details about the service accounts registered on the current tenant.

Path to access

  1. Access the Cloud Security platform.
  2. In the user menu, click Admin console.
  3. In the Tenant settings menu, click Service accounts.

Actions menu

Item Type Description
+ Add service account Button Opens the Add service account screen.

Search fields

Item Type Description
Search Text field Filters the service accounts according to the words entered.
SCIM Dropdown menu Filters the service accounts based on whether or not they have the SCIM Management role. The options are: All, Yes, and No.
Clear filter Button Clears all filters applied.
Export data in CSV Button Opens the Export data in CSV modal.
Show/Hide columns Button Opens a card to manage the display of columns in the report.

Report fields

  • Name: service account name.
  • Email: service account email.
  • ID: service account ID. Click Copy content to copy the service account ID to the clipboard.
  • State: service account status. Toggle the button to enable or disable the service account.
  • SCIM: indicates whether or not the service account has the SCIM Management role.
  • Total keys: total number of keys assigned to the service account.
  • Register: date and time the service account was created.

By default, the report displays 25 records per screen. To go to the next screen, click the forward buttons at the end of the report.

Add/Edit service account screen

Item Type Description
Name * Text field Defines the service account name.

Roles tab

Item Type Description
Select roles Table Table to add or edit the service account roles.

Access Keys tab

Item Type Description
Name Text field Defines the access key name.
Valid until Date picker Defines the access key expiration date.
+ Add key Button Adds a new access key to the service account.
Access keys Table Table to add or remove the service account access keys.

Service account details modal

By clicking on a service account, a new modal is displayed with information about the service account, its roles, and access keys.

Item Type Description
Name Text field Service account name.
Email Text field Service account email.
Created at Text field Service account creation date.
State Label Service account status. The statuses are: Enabled and Disabled.
Tenant ID Text field ID of the tenant where the service account was registered. Click Copy content to copy the tenant ID to the clipboard.
Enable/Disable Button Enables or disables the service account.
Edit Button Opens the Edit service account screen.

Access keys section

This section provides information about the fields related to the service account access keys.

Item Type Description
Name Text field Access key name.
Client ID Text field Access key client ID. Click Copy content to copy the client ID to the clipboard.
Client Secret Text field Access key client secret. The client secret can only be viewed once during the service account creation or editing.
Valid until Text field Access key expiration date.
Status Label Access key status. The statuses are: Active and Revoked.
Rotate secret Button Generates new tokens for the access key.

Roles section

This section provides information about the fields related to the service account roles.

Item Type Description
Product Text field Product to which the service account has access.
Roles Text field Service account roles. More information about the roles available in About service accounts.
Description Text field Description of the service account roles.
