The Vendor Access Portal uses passwordless authentication. To sign in, enter your email address. The portal sends a single-use code to that address, which you enter to complete sign-in.
Requirements
- The portal address, provided by the customer's administrator.
- An approved registration. To register, see Register as a third party on the Vendor Access Portal.
- Access to the channel that delivers your sign-in code. Your first code arrives by email or SMS, on the channel the customer configured. Later codes come from your authenticator app.
Steps
- Open the portal address.
- On the Sign in card, in Email, enter the address you registered with, and then select Continue.
- Retrieve the sign-in code. On your first sign-in, the code arrives by email or SMS. On later sign-ins, use the code your authenticator app shows.
- On Enter your code, type the code and select Verify. The screen states how long the code stays valid, and offers Resend code if it expires.
- On your first sign-in, register an authenticator app. The portal requires it before you can continue. Later sign-ins use the code from that app.
If you registered but cannot sign in, your registration is probably still waiting for approval. The portal does not distinguish between a registration that is pending, one that was rejected, and an address that was never registered. It returns the same message for all three. Contact the customer who gave you the portal address.
