This document provides information on how to add secrets to Azure applications. An Azure application secret is a password-like credential used to authenticate an Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) application when accessing Azure resources or services.
Add a secret
To add a secret to an Azure application, see the following steps:
- Access Cloud Security.
- Access the Cloud Entitlements product.
- In the Cloud Entitlements menu, click Identities.
- In the Identities report, select one Azure application and click the Findings tab.
- In the Findings tab, go to the Secrets section and click + Add.
- In the Secret name * field, enter a name for the secret.
- In the Expiration date field, enter an expiration date for the secret.
- Click Create new secret.
The newly added secret will appear in the Secrets section.
