This document provides information on how to add templates in Cloud IAM. Templates can be used to define how Segura users have provisioned users and service accounts to cloud service providers (CSPs_ without breaking the organization's rules.
Add a template
To add a template to Cloud IAM, see the following steps:
- On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Cloud IAM.
- In the side menu, select Identity management > Templates.
- In the top right corner, click Add.
- In the Name * field, enter the name for the template.
- In the Enabled * field, select to activate or deactivate the template.
- In the Service section, enter the following information:
- In the Mask * field, define how the name of the users or service accounts should be created. You can enter a prefix and/or suffix and also, between braces, the number of letters and numbers. For example:
segura-aaa-000
. Here, the prefix is “segura”, and all created-service accounts start this way. It is also defined as containing three letters, a hyphen and three numbers.

- In the Personal section, enter the following information:
- (Optional): In the Department field, select the department in which the users or service accounts should be associated to be provisioned.
InfoThis field is not required but restricts the list of users available for the personal user provisioning process. So if you do not want certain users to the provision to those outside a specific department, it is advisable to fill out this field.
The new added template will appear listed on the Templates report screen.
