This document provides information on how to renew an expired or soon-to-expire certificate. Using existing data, the user can apply for renewal, with or without signing.
If you're a user who requires approval to complete the process, renewal will only occur after an approving user's confirmation.
Renew a certificate
To renew a certificate, see the following steps:
- On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
- In the side menu, select Certificates > SSL/TLS.
- In the desired certificate, click Actions > Renew certificate.
- In the Generate the request and sign field, select to generate the request and sign it. After selecting it, the application will save the renewal request, and open the Add request form. For more information on how to create a request, see How to create a request.
- In the Just generate the request field, select to just generate the request, and not sign it. After selecting it, the status of the certificate will be Renewal requested until the certificate is signed.
