How to approve a multi-level request in EPM macOS

This guide explains how administrators should approve execution requests linked to policies with multiple hierarchical approval levels in EPM macOS.

Requirements

• The applied policy must be configured with multiple approval levels.
• The Agent must be installed on the requester’s device.
• The administrator must have approval permissions for their respective level.

Approve at the first level

1. In Segura® Platform, in the navigation bar, hover over the Product Menu and select Approval Workflow > EPM > My Approvals.
2. Filter the status to Pending to display all requests requiring action.
3. Locate the desired request in the list.
4. Click the Actions button on the right and select Approve.
5. Review the request details.
6. Click Approve request to confirm.

Once approved at the first level, the request will automatically move to the next level.

Approve at subsequent levels

1. Users responsible for the next level of approval must follow the same steps.
2. The approval process repeats for each level until the request is fully approved.

Privileged execution will only be released on the Agent after the final approval is completed.
