Denied access

This document provides information about the Denied access report screen, which displays the history of denied access performed by users registered in Segura.

Path to access

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Reports.
  2. In the side menu, select PCI > Denied access.

Action Menu

Item Type Description
Actions Dropdown menu Displays the options to Print report, Export CSV, and Schedule report.

Search fields

Item Type Description
ID Text field Filters by the identification code within Segura.
Operation Dropdown menu Filters by the type of operation the user tried to perform. The options are Start session and View password. Clear the field to enable the All option.
User Text field Filters by the name of the user who tried to perform the operation.
Credential Text field Filters by the credential that was used to perform the operation.
Device Text field Filters by the device that was accessed.
Request period Date picker Filters by the period in which the accesses were made.

Report fields

  • ID.
  • Operation.
  • User.
  • Credential.
  • Device.
  • Access request: day the user requested access.
  • Access rejection: day the approver denied access.
  • Approvers: users selected to approve access requests from this user.
  • Actions:
    • View: opens the Access request screen.
Info

By default, the report displays 30 records per screen. To go to the next screen, click the forward buttons at the end of the report.


Access request screen

Information section

Item Description
Password Password of the device to be accessed.
Requester Name of the user making the request.
Group Access group to which the user belongs.
Approvals required Number of approvals required.
Disapprovals required Number of disapprovals required.
Request date Date and time of the request.
Status Status of the request (Approved, Canceled, Revoked, Pending, or Rejected).

Justification section

Item Description
Reason Reason why the user needs access.
Governance ID Identification code for ITSM (IT Service Management) software.
Justification The reason why the user needs the requested access.

Request details section

In this section, you’ll find the description of the action that will be performed in this request.

Responses section

Item Description
Approver Name of the user who approved the request.
Response Status containing the response given by the approver.
Date Date and time the approval was made.
Level Approver level.
Justification Justification to explain the response given by the approver.
