This document provides information about the SSL/TLS screen in the Requests menu, which is used to manage and configure certificates in the Certificate Manager.
Path to access
- On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
- In the side menu, select Requests > SSL/TLS.
Actions menu

Search fields
Item | Type | Description |

ID | Text field | Filters the requests by the ID. |
Name | Text field | Filters the requests by the requests' name. |
Status | Dropdown menu | Filters the requests by the status. The options are: Generating, Generated, Signature requested, Request approved, Request rejected, Waiting signature, Signed, Error signing, Cancelled, Waiting edition, Error generating CSR, Error generating the key, and Awaiting processing. Clear the field to enable the All option. |
Organization | Text field | Filters the requests by the organization. |
Key | Dropdown menu | Filters the requests using the encryption key selected. The options are: RSA and DSA. Clear the field to enable the All option. |
Cryptography | Dropdown menu | Filters the requests by the hash function algorithm used. The options are: SHA256, SHA384, and SHA512. Clear the field to enable the All option. |
Requester | Text field | Filters the requests by the requester. |
Request date | Date picker | Filters the requests by the request date. |
Report fields
- ID.
- Name.
- Status.
- Organization.
- Key.
- Cryptography.
- Tags: tags to identify the request.
- Expiration: days for the request to expire.
- Certificate type: certificate type.
- Requester.
- Request date.
- Responsible: user responsible for the request.
- Imported?: imported request or not.
- Random certificates: number of random certificates generated by the request.
- Actions:
- View certificate: opens the SSL/TLS certificates report screen with the specific certificate filtered.
- View request: opens the Requests screen.
- Request signature: opens the New request signature form screen.
- Validation guidelines: opens the Validation guidelines report screen. Visible only if there's an error during signing.
- View actions: displays a dropdown menu with available actions.
- View Password key: opens the View password form screen.
- Edit: opens the Edit certificate form screen to make the necessary changes. Visible only if the request needs signing.
- Cancel request: cancels the request. Visible only if the request needs signing.
- Clone request: clones the request. On the confirmation screen, click Yes to confirm the action.
- Detailed log signature: opens the Signature Debug report screen.
By default, the report displays 30 records per screen. To go to the next screen, click the forward buttons at the end of the report.
Import request screen
This section provides details about the Import Request screen, which allows importing a certificate request using a CSR and key file, as well as configuring request settings such as algorithms, validation levels, and domain types.
Path to access
- On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
- In the side menu, select Requests > SSL/TLS.
- In the dropdown menu, beneath the Add button, click Import request.
Import request
This tab provides information about the required fields to import a certificate request.

Key password | Text field | No | Enter a password to restrict access to the request. It can be up to 72 characters long, including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and the symbols ! % @ # ^ * _ . |
Revocation password | Text field | No | Enter a password to revoke the request. It follows the same format as the Key Password. |
Certificate signature algorithm* | Dropdown menu | Yes | Defines the cryptographic algorithm used for signing the request. The options are: SHA-256, SHA-384, or SHA-512. |
Certificate type* | Dropdown menu | Yes | Select the level of validation for the request. The options are: DV SSL, OV SSL, or EV SSL. |
Domain type* | Radio button | Yes | Select the type of request. The options are: Single domain, Multiple domains, or Wildcard. |
Search | Text field | No | Enter text to filter and search for specific items or requests. |
Add / Remove selected | Button | No | Add or remove the selected organization. |
Organization table | Table | No | Displays the name and the specific division within the organization. The fields are: Organization and Organization unit. |
View password screen
This section provides details about the View password key screen, which allows consulting the password associated with a certificate request. It includes information about the requester, request status, and tools for viewing, copying, and spelling out the password.
Path to access
- On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
- In the side menu, select Requests > SSL/TLS.
- In the selected record, click in Actions button, and select View password key.
View password
This tab provides information related to the requested password.
Item | Description |

Requester | Displays the requester's name. |
Status | Displays the password status. |
Request | Displays the request ID. |
View password | Allows the user to view the password. Adjusts the contrast to display the password. |
Copy password | Copies the password to the clipboard. |
Spell password | Displays the password using the phonetic alphabet. |
View time key | After 30 seconds, the user is redirected to the SSL/TLS requests report screen. |
Validation guidelines screen
This section provides details about the Validation guidelines screen, which allows checking the validation status of a certificate request, as well as instructions for domain or DNS zone validation.

- On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
- In the side menu, select Requests > SSL/TLS.
- In the selected record, click in Actions button, and select Validation guidelines.
Validation guidelines tab
This tab provides information about the status information and instructions for request validation.

Certificate Authority (CA) | Displays the certificate authority responsible for issuing the request. |
Status | Displays the validation status of the request. |
ID | Displays the unique identifier code for request validation. |
Message | Displays details or errors related to the validation process. |

New request signature screen
This section provides details about the Request signature screen, which enables configuring and submitting a certificate signing request, including options for using a Certification Authority, self-signing, and entering governance and justification information.

- In the selected record, click in Actions button, and select Request signature.
General tab
This tab provides information about the required fields to configure the request signature.

Reason* | Dropdown menu | Yes | Select the reason for access. The options are: Email certificate, External web application, and Internal web application. |
