      Applications in the control panel don't elevate privilege

      Scenario

      When enabling in general parameters the elevation setting User can elevate applications and running an application from the Control Panel, some applications don't run with privileges.

      Solution

      To remedy this problem, there are two alternatives:

      Solution 1

      • You can enable Just In Time (JIT) in GO Windows settings by following the steps in the article JIT Access.

      Solution 2

      • You can enable UAC in GO Windows settings by following the steps in the article Integration with UAC.
